    Poinsett Bridge

    17.5 miles from Pebble Springs

    Built in 1820, Poinsett Bridge is the oldest standing bridge in South Carolina and possibly the entire southeastern U.S. Located in Travelers Rest, the stone bridge includes a 14-foot Gothic arch and stretches 130 over the Little Gap Creek. It is located in the 120 acre Poinsett Bridge Heritage Preserve. There is a nature trail nearby.
