Located at an elevation of approximately 933 feet above sea level in the upstate of South Carolina, Greenville County, Pebble Springs is in a small town, country-like setting away from crowds and congestion. The area has parks, golf courses, lakes for boating, fishing and hiking trails. Eight miles from Taylors is the City of Greenville, home to art and history museums, and numerous City Parks.

Live performance centers such as the Peace Center, Centre Stage, South Carolina Children’s Theatre, Warehouse Theater, and Greenville Center for Creative Arts and the Carolina Ballet Theatre bring an abundance of culture including the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Carolina Ballet Theatre, Greenville Concert Band and the Greenville Chorale.

The Bons Secours Wellness Arena brings indoor football, college basketball, and a variety of concerts and family entertainment events.

Lake Jocassee

47 miles from Pebble Springs

This 7,500-acre deep reservoir is located in northwest South Carolina and was built in partnership with Duke Power in 1973. The lake is within Devils Fork State Park. The famous movie “Deliverance” (1972) was filmed there prior to when the area was flooded. More recently, Lake Jocassee was one of the filming locations for the 2012 movie, “The Hunger Games.” The name Jocassee comes from the legend of a Cherokee maiden. The lake offers numerous recreational opportunities including fishing, boating, kayaking, and hiking. There are beautiful gorges and waterfalls.
